Donny Winter is an LGBTQ+ poet, YouTube blogger, educator, and activist residing in Midland, Michigan. He is the author of three collections of poems, Carbon Footprint (2020), Feats of Alchemy (2021), and Casting Seeds (2022). All of his collections have debuted at the top of Amazon’s LGBTQ+ and Nature poetry lists, garnering him 3 Pushcart Prize nominations and a Best of the Net nomination. His poems have been published in numerous journals and magazines, including: Awakened Voices Magazine, Culture Cult Magazine, Flypaper Lit, Kaiju Ramen, and Central Review. A graduate of University of Central Missouri, Winter is a creative writing professor at Delta College and teaches composition at Saginaw Valley State University.
